Whatever the reason, a surf shop unites our surfing community while providing it with surf gear, apparel, information and advise.
Every surf shop I go to always ends up in a longer-than-anticipated visit because of conversation with the owner and employees (and other customers).
These guys and girls are your source of information if you are starting out, or if you have something specific on your shopping list.
With the importance of our Surf Shops in mind, we start off a small project called "Surf Shop Profiles".
We want to help everyone know where the Surf Shops in our island are located, what they carry, when can they visit and how did the surf shop came about.

Our first Profile is for Surf Town, a true surfer's shop.
Located in our West coast, in the gorgeous town of Rincón, Surf Town is right in "downtown" in Calle Muñoz Rivera, #40.

Once inside, the store greets you with a huge selection of sandals...
Whatever style you like, color, size or brand... there is an entire wall of them!
On the guy's section, they have dozens of surf shorts/trunks... plus check out the beautiful longboards for sale, all hanging from the ceiling.

Because it is a fully stocked surf shop, Surf Town also has a nice selection of leashes, back packs, and baseball caps for your head/hair.
The shop also has jeans that are up-to-date in the latest fashions, many different sunglasses by various companies, plus a very nice and big section for the surfer girls.

You can find surf wax (if you are over at Rincón, no better place to get it!), Quick Fix for that ding repair, surf wallets, sunscreen, fins for your boards, plus surfing DVD movies!
